Bamboo Products

Bamboo is more stable than other select Australian hardwoods. It expands and contracts 50% less than other hardwoods making it ideal for use in applications where a high humidity or temperature variation makes hardwood impractical.

Bamboo is also very hard being up to 50% harder than Oak. Bamboo has the tensile strength of steel.

Most paler timbers are softwoods. Bamboo is three times the hardness of any comparably coloured hardwood. It is the only hardwood that is naturally light in colour.
