Square Metre is owned and operated by David Gill, a third-generation real estate agent, advisor, and developer.
David operates the business with a lean yet scalable business model – he leads a core team under the Square Metre banner, but also collaborates with and leads a range of trusted external consultants, designers, and builders, as is needed to service his clients.
Having commenced his property career in 1999 as a commercial sales and leasing executive with his family’s firm, Gill Property, David further developed his agency, negotiation, and auctioneering skills over 4 years with international real estate firm, CBRE.
David spent the following 9 years working as a Development Manager for some of Australia’s most active and successful private and listed property groups, including: Salta Properties, Australand, and Pellicano Group. This client-side experience and direct exposure to the leaders of these businesses provides David with uncommon insight into the processes and practices that enable successful property outcomes.
Widely experienced and active across Melbourne’s commercial, industrial, retail and multi-unit residential markets, David Gill possesses the rare ability to analyse and dissect complex property issues, and then deliver creative, tailor-made, and cost-effective solutions.
